Old Ledgers and Journal Pages.....

I am offering a packet featuring....
one small vintage notebook filled with old fountain pen notes,
5 old deposit slips,
one medium size journal filled with beautiful handwritten notes
and
5 ledger pages....again filled with handwritten material!
I like to use these in backgrounds of my collage and assemblage work!
It is hard to find beautiful old handwriting in fountain pen these days.
I love the attention people used to pay to the detail.
This is all vintage paper ...some dating back to the 1940's.

Here are a few more small packets from Paper Plate! First there is the typeset packet. It contains 3 old vintage typeset from a print shop that closed it doors some years ago. I have included one large, one med. and one small typeset stamp in each packet. Since they are all different the packets are all unique as well. This packet sells for 10.00 + 2.00 for shipping. These work beautifully with the Staz-On stamp pads and add a great individual touch to your artwork!

Next we have a small packet of 3 vintage celluloid and bakelite belt buckles. Again, since they are all different the packets are unique as well. I try to vary size, shape and color to make up each packet. These packets sell for 10.00 per packet + 2.00 shipping.

The last offering is a small packet of game pieces and belt buckle. There are 6 pieces in this packet and include scrabble, bingo, mai jong, and another game piece I am not familiar with. The "Antique Images" packet contains 10 (9X12) sheets......which includes approx. 35 images and illustrations. These images have been collected from antique malls and estate sales and are printed on high quality photocopy paper.
There are 5 pages from childrens book with brightly colored and beautifully drawn illustrations and text. Each page contains at least 2 illustrations giving you a total of 10 illustrations.
Also, there are 5 pages of vintage calling cards, advertisement cards and greeting card images. Each sheet contains approx. 5 images giving you a total of 25 images. my sister and i are both hoping to retire from teaching next year and would like to have a small business going before we make the plunge. since we are both artists and art teachers we thought it appropriate to start with something we know and love.......PAPER!
sandy and i have longed to do something together all our adult lives and this looks like a great opportunity! we are antique mall and estate sale "junkies" and decided to put our efforts to use in this new venture! we will be offerering different packets we have put together based upon our finds.......
we want to offer something that is new and exciting to collage artists and scrapbookers. possibilities are endless........tutorials on methods of using materials....lessons for beginners......techniques (right up our alley).....maybe throwing a little sewing into the mix!
any suggestions will be welcome and we look forward to hearing from you. we will try to have free samples whenever possible so that you can see what you are getting before making a purchase.
